Join the Montana Watershed Coordination Council in Filling up the Fund until December 31.

Watershed groups across Montana will seek support from MWCC’s Watershed Fund to achieve conservation goals set by their communities in 2025.

Groups like the Winnett ACES who are working to provide education on conservation practices and fiscal support for ag producers over one of the largest and THE least populous county in Montana! Their Soil Health Program, a previous MWCC Watershed Fund project, has informed producers on adaptive management strategies on over 30,000 acres in the past two years alone.

Our goal is to raise at least $5,000 before December 31 to award a minimum of 5 Capacity Support grants in 2025! To create a larger impact, the Cinnabar Foundation has provided a dollar- for- dollar matching grant up to our $5,000 goal.

Can we count on you to make a donation today to Fill Up the Fund?

Any donation of $100 or more between now and the new year will be entered to win a two night stay at this 3 bed, 2 bath home along the Missouri River next year! Check out the AirBnB listing at bit.ly/FillUpTheFundRiverStay

Become part of MWCC’s NEW 406 Water Crew!

We aren’t at 406 members yet, so we’ll keep going! Joining at just $5 a month is one of the most impactful ways to convene and connect Montana’s community of water conservation practitioners from around the state. By joining the Crew, you will be contributing directly to Montana Watershed Fund initiatives, like professional development funding that provides stipends for travel, food, lodging, and registration for trainings and conferences.
“As a small nonprofit with limited funds, attending the Montana Annual Water Resources Association Conference is not an opportunity I would have had without a professional development award. Attending this conference helped me make connections that have helped me grow the Sun River Watershed Group and provide better benefits to our community.” -Tracy Wendt, Sun River Watershed Group Executive Director
