The Milk River Watershed Alliance (MRWA), made up of five conservation districts and the coordinator from the Joint Board of Control to provide leadership, assistance, and guidance for the wise use and conservation of the Milk River’s natural resources. The communication specialist is an employee of the Valley County Conservation District (CD), assigned to provide communication services to the Alliance, of which Valley County CD is a member. The purpose of this position is to assist the Alliance in achieving its overall objective of local input and control into the management and conservation of the Milk River.
